Khazar Fatemi was born in Iran and brought up in Afghanistan.
At the age of seven, Khazar and her family narrowly fled Afghanistan for a better life in Sweden. After two years in a Swedish refugee camp, Khazar and her family received full citizenship. She has lived and worked in Sweden ever since.
Over the last few years Khazar has been working as a broadcast journalist for Swedens largest news network, SVT.
During that time she has been involved with the countrys top-rated news program, Rapport.
Khazar has a wide range of experience covering both local and foreign news. She speaks four languages, and because of this, has had the opportunity to be involved with various international news events across the globe.
